Recently, we were engaged to install screwpiles alongside a tidal hotel resort pool footpath that had badly subsided.

The builder had independent structural engineers detailing 3m spacings and 50kn load capacity on the screw piles. We installed the screwpiles alongside the existing footpath with the piles going 5m deep into the water. A 50kn pressure was measured on our excavator.

As the screwpiles were in the water, the builder pushed100mm plastic sewer pipe over them and hand filled with concrete. We had undertaken the job of the large tidal pool some 6 years previously due to the existing footpath sinking. Upon inspection, the area we piled had not moved at all.

Another successful job keeping our 100% success rate intact.
